134.32 million mt of iron ore reserves at mine in Henan Province

According a recent survey carried out by Henan Province Geology and Mining Bureau in eastern China, the Quandian iron mine located at Xuchang in Henan has proven reserves of 134.32 million mt of iron ore with an average Fe content of 29.15 percent.

Xuchang is conveniently near to Wuyang Steel and Anyang Steel. The Quandian iron mine, along with the existing Wuzhuang iron ore mine in Xuchang, provides a relatively big advantage in terms of iron ore for the area in question and is expected to boost the local economy.
