Turkey's motor vehicle output down 7.7 percent in January

According to the monthly statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD), in January this year Turkey's motor vehicle output totaled 84,368 units, decreasing by 7.7 percent year on year and down by 12.45 percent from the month of December.
 
In January, Turkey's passenger car output totaled 46,931 units - down eight percent, its commercial vehicle production came to 37,437 units - down 30 percent, while tractor production amounted to 3,767 units - up 0.3 percent, all compared to December.
