• How do I become a member?
  
  You can become a member of SteelOrbis by filling in the Application Form or by contacting SteelOrbis Customer Service
    
  
  
• Is there a fee to become a member of SteelOrbis?
  
  There is no fee to become a basic member. Sign up for a free trial to get access today!  
  
  
• What should I do after I have become a member of SteelOrbis?
  
  After you become a member of SteelOrbis, log-in on the homepage using your e-mail address and the password given to you. Once you are logged in, you can effectively utilize SteelOrbis pricing reports, market analyses, daily steel news, as well as networking and trading tools.  
  
  
• I've forgotten my password. What should I do?
  
  If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot Password button, or contact SteelOrbis Customer Service

  In order to reach content published on the SteelOrbis website, you have to become a member.
  
  In order to become a member, fill out the Membership Application Form or contact SteelOrbis Customer Support .
  
  SteelOrbis member companies are able to follow daily price movements, access industry analysis, steel industry news, as well as have the opportunity to privately reach potential business partners.  
  
  
• What type of information can I find on SteelOrbis?

  Steel Prices: On the Steel Prices pages you will find steel price information that has been gathered by our analysts. These steel prices are spot prices garnered from real market transactions.

Trading Platform

• How can I use the SteelOrbis Trade Platform?
  
  Member companies of SteelOrbis Trade Platform are able to trade for raw materials and finished steel products in the market place. Member companies receive the best prices while trading in optimum conditions by using auction or reverse auction methods. When opening an auction on SteelOrbis members are able to organize the details of the auction,such as: information about the auction opening date, time, duration, type, participants, loading and transport terms, and payment terms according to their trade strategies before the auction even begins.  
  
  
• Which products will I be able to sell/purchase on SteelOrbis Trade Platform?
  
  You will be able to trade raw materials, semi-finished steel, long, flat-rolled, tubular and coated steel products.   
  
  
• Will I be able to open auctions for sell and purchase at the same time?
  
  Members will be able to open auctions for the products they produce or carry on the trade of, like raw materials, semi-finished, long, flat and welded products.  
  
  
• Can I participate in the auctions existing on the "My Auctions" page?
  
  Participation to the auctions is determined by the selection of the auctioneer. If you have not been invited to participate, then you will not be able to see the details of the auction.
  
    
  
  
• In which languages can I create auctions and give offers?
  
  SteelOrbis is designed both for English and Turkish. Creating an auction in both languages is possible. For instance, a member can create an auction in Turkish but the participants can give their offers in English, or vice versa.  
  
  
• Is there any restriction as to auction duration?
  
  Yes. An auction may last only for 24 hours.  
  
  
• Can I schedule an auction for next week or next month?
  
  Yes. You can organize an auction for a minimum of three days in advance to a maximum of six months in advance.  
  
  
• Who decides who will participate in an auction and how?
  
  The person creating the auction--the auctioneer--will determine the companies that may participate in an auction. The auctioneer may invite all the SteelOrbis member companies to the auction, or may restrict the participation as he/she sees fit.  
  
  
• If I have created an auction, how will I contact to the awarded participant once the auction is completed?
  
  Once the auction has ended, you will receive the contact information of the winning bidder as well as the details of the auction via e-mail   
  
  
• Can I contact SteelOrbis from another computer?
  
  Yes you can! You can reach SteelOrbis on any computer that has internet connection.
