Ex-Brazil pig iron prices to the US shoring up

On February 23, SteelOrbis reported basic steelmaking pig iron offers at approximately $392-405/mt CFR US port.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that “Brazil is trying to push prices up as they see strong US demand.” Basic steelmaking pig iron is reportedly around $400-410/mt CFR US port (New Orleans) while nodular pig iron is reportedly around $460-470/mt CFR US port (New Orleans), both for future orders.
