Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 49, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,200-11,900/mt ($356-378/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,159-1,238/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late December shipments.
