SteelOrbis has heard that Turkish producers are offering mesh quality wire rods for export at $570-580/mt FOB on actual weight basis for July shipments.
Although the new Chinese export tax has taken effect, the expected activity in the wire rod market has not yet been registered. The approaching summer months and the downward trend in Europe are negatively affecting sales to this latter region.
