Today, September 27, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 20-50/mt in Iskenderun and Karabuk over the end of last week, with minor changes on US dollar basis amid exchange rate fluctuations. In addition, the local rebar prices have remained unchanged in lira basis both in Marmara and Izmir regions. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 6,920-6,980/mt or $663-668/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region. Local traders in Iskenderun and Karabuk have adjusted their rebar prices in line with the rest of the regions.
Icdas has kept its official rebar price at $670/mt ex-works, while another mill in Marmara region is currently offering rebar at the same price. Sources report special discount is available for serious buyers.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar price at TRY 6,950/mt ($666/mt) ex-works today.
