Slower purchase activity in Spanish rebar market

Markets sources state that rebar prices in the local Spanish market are currently standing at €485-490/mt ($660-666/mt) delivered, indicating a decrease of €5/mt ($7/mt) over the past two weeks.

Meanwhile, Spanish rebar export offers have increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) since last week and are now at €465-470/mt ($632-639/mt) FOB. Market sources state that purchasing activity in the Spanish rebar market has slowed down due to the approach of the year-end and buyers' higher stocks.
