Rebar export prices from southern Europe

According to market sources, Spanish rebar offers to the export markets have declined by €5/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to the range of €390-395/mt ($429-435/mt) FOB, for August shipment. Meanwhile, market sources state that volume discounts are available on current rebar price levels.
 
Meanwhile, Italian rebar offers to the export markets have also declined by €5/mt ($6/mt) to the range of €390-395/mt ($429-435/mt) FOB during the past week, for August shipment. Although demand for European rebar is currently very weak, market sources state that European rebar offers have been accepted in some Central African countries after Ramadan. On the other hand, the volume of offers from southern Europe has declined due to the traditional summer offseason.
