H-beam and channel bar prices increase in Taiwan – week 17

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the Taiwanese domestic market the prices of H-beam have increased by NTD 400/mt ($14/mt) as compared to last week and are now quoted at NTD 25,900-27,400/mt ($885-936/mt) delivered to customer, while the prices of channel bar have also indicated an increase of NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) as compared to last week and are currently at NTD 22,300-23,100/mt ($762-789/mt) delivered to customer. Both prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
