Market sources state that, having returned from the holidays, Greek rebar producers have not shared any export prices with international markets yet, but instead are monitoring the movements of global scrap prices which started to move up after the Feast of Sacrifice holiday (Aug. 20-24). The most recent rebar offers from Greece to international markets were at €500-510/mt ($580-592/mt) FOB, while SteelOrbis has been informed that Greek rebar producers are targeting the high-end of this price range amid the rises seen in global scrap quotations.
