Buyers in Omani rebar market more interested in imports

According to market sources, local producers' rebar prices in the Omani market have remained stable as compared to three weeks ago at approximately $485-490/mt ex-works. With no sign of an improvement in rebar demand in Oman, market sources state that buyers are more interested in concluding deals for imported rebar.
 
Meanwhile, Chinese rebar offers to the Omani market have increased by $10-15/mt during the past three weeks to $400/mt CFR, while Turkish  rebar offers to the Omani market are heard to be at $440-445/mt CFR.
