The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $574/mt, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with the 1008/SPCC grade as reference, compared to $565/mt, same conditions, two weeks ago,

In July, Brazil imported 2,800 mt of CRC, of which 2,000 mt from Sweden at $794/mt, 600 mt from China at $547/mt and 200 mt from Taiwan at $788/mt, all FOB conditions and different quality grades.

Meanwhile Brazil exported 800 mt of CRC in July, in average at $600/mt, FOB conditions, almost entirely destined to South America countries.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 3,643/mt ($670/mt), against BRL 3,371/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.

The increase reflects both exchange rate variations and claims by producers of increased international prices of the product.
