Brazilian CRC imports from China are negotiated today at $1,170/mt, CFR conditions, a trader in the northeastern region of Brazil told SteelOrbis, adding that FOB prices have actually declined, but possible gains were offset by increased freight rates. Two weeks ago, the reference price was a range of $1,150/mt to $1,200/mt, under the same conditions.

In July, Brazil exported 21,800 mt of CRC, in average at $586/mt, while importing 44,000 mt at $764/mt, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 7,696/mt ($1,433/mt), against BRL 7,062/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
