On June 26, the European Union announced that it was initiating an anti-dumping investigation into imports of seamless pipe from China.
Following the EU announcement, a spokesman from Hubei Xinyegang Steel Company has stated that no cause for an anti-dumping investigation exists as regards their seamless pipe exports to the EU and that they will take whatever action they can in response to the AD investigation.
