Wuhan Steel’s net profit up 75.4 percent in Q1

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) has issued its financial report for the first three months of the current year, announcing an operating revenue of RMB 17.555 billion ($2.83 billion), down 30.71 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 459 million ($74.03 million), up 75.4 percent year on year.
