Wuhan Steel to be largest pellet producer in China

Wuhan Steel's pellet mill in Ezhou city of China's Wuhan region is beginning to conduct the second phase of project which will turn the company into the largest pellet production base in China with 12 million tons per annum production capacity. In the second phase; a 5 millon ton-per annum capacity new production line will be constructed and a new railway line will be laid particularly for that line. The company will also buy Wuzhang port and overhaul the port to handle the capacity expansion. The second phase pellet project is a key programme included in Wuhan Steel's 11th Five-Year Plan.
