Wanli New Materials commissions new pickling line

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wanli New Materials has commissioned a new pickling line within the scope of its 1,450 mm cold rolling project, as announced by China 22MCC Group Co., Ltd, which was responsible for construction of the new line. The designed annual output capacity of the pickling line is 1.2 million mt.
 
Investment in the overall cold rolling project, which has an annual cold rolled sheet output capacity of 1 million mt, amounts to RMB 3.5 billion ($560 million). The project also includes a continuous annealing unit with an annual capacity of 400,000 mt on which testing is expected to be completed by the end of December.
