Vallourec inaugurates regional office in Middle East

French steel pipe producer Vallourec has announced the inauguration of its new Middle East office in Jebel Ali, Dubai, which brings together its commercial and corporate teams for the region.

Bertrand de Rotalier, general manager of Vallourec Middle East, stated, "We are now able to serve our customers with our full range of products and services from one central location. This makes life easier for our customers and will enable us to be more responsive, which is essential to compete in such a dynamic market.”

The Middle East office offers the full range of products and services for oil and gas customers including OCTG, accessories, field service, line pipe and process, coordinating supply from China, Brazil and Europe. VSA, Vallourec’s finishing mill in Dammam, provides local heat treatment and threading facilities for the world's biggest oil producer and one of the region's largest customers, Saudi Aramco.
