Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (XISC) has announced a net profit of RMB 25.75 million ($4.1 million) for November, ending its succession of monthly net losses recorded since October last year.

Due to the sluggishness in the domestic steel industry, XISC has concentrated on lowering its production costs.
