The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) determined Thursday that a US industry is materially injured or threatened with material injury by imports of certain steel threaded rod from China that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value.
All six ITC commissioners voted in the affirmative; accordingly, the DOC will issue antidumping orders on imports of this product from China.
The ITC's public report, Certain Steel Threaded Rod from China, will contain the views of the ITC and information developed during the investigation. Copies of this report may be obtained from the ITC after April 27, 2009.
