US ITC makes affirmative determinations in AD/CVD investigation of construction castings

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made affirmative determinations on Friday in its expedited sunset reviews of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders against iron construction castings from Brazil, Canada, and China.  As expected, the ITC found that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US Industry. Because the US Department of Commerce (DOC) had previously made affirmative determinations in its sunset reviews of these orders, these orders will be continued for another period of five years.

The product covered by these investigations is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item numbers: 7325.10.0010, 7325.10.0050, 7325.10.0010, 7325.10.0010, and 7325.10.0050.
