US DOC: Final results of CVD review on CTL plate from S. Korea
On March 23, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain cut-to-length (CTL) carbon-quality steel plate imported from South Korea. The review covered the period January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. As a preliminary result of this review, the DOC calculated a subsidy rate for Dongkuk Steel Mill (DSM) for 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined the total estimated net countervailable subsidy rate for DSM as 0.05 percent ad valorem for 2004, which is de minimis. Upon receiving no comments on the preliminary results, the DOC did not make any changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
