US DOC: Final results of AD review on silicon metal from China and Brazil

On January 3, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on silicon metal imported from China and Brazil. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and no response or inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited sunset reviews. As a result of these reviews, the DOC decided that revocation of the antidumping duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at the levels listed below:
