Urban fixed assets investment up 29.6% in four months

SteelOrbis Shanghai During January-April period, China's urban fixed assets investment increased 29.6 percent year on year to RMB 1.8006 trillion ($225.08 billion). The investment on coal mining increased 58.2 percent from a year ago to RMB 20.1 billion ($2.5 billion), power increased 15.6 percent to RMB 152.8 billion ($19.1 billion), oil and natural gas increased 3.7 percent to RMB 31.1 billion ($3.9 billion), railway increased 85.7 percent to RMB 34.8 billion ($4.35 billion), non-metal products increased 37.2 percent to RMB 36.9 billion ($4.6 billion), ferrous metals increased 13.1 percent to RMB 59.5 billion, non-ferrous metals increased 27.7 percent to RMB 21.2 billion ($2.65 billion).
