Turkish metal manufacturing sector operates at 76 percent capacity in April

According to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, in April this year the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry came to 76 percent, increasing slightly from 75.3 percent in March and down from 79.1 percent in April 2010.
 
Meanwhile, in April of the current year, the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, increased by 4.1 percentage points month on month, rising to 71.3 percent - up from 65.1 percent in April last year.
