Ternium still evaluating impact of incident at Louisiana galvanizing line

Ternium has announced that on July 5, a zinc leakage on the electrical wiring caused an incident in the galvanizing line of the company's mill in Shreveport, Louisiana. The circumstances are still being investigated.

No employees were injured. A special team designated by Ternium is currently working at the location assessing the situation and deciding on an immediate plan of action. Ternium said that it is evaluating the damage produced by the incident and its potential effects on the mill's production capacity in order to implement measures aimed at minimizing its impact on the services supplied to customers.
