Shougang Jingtang United achieves record slab output in March

In March this year, Chinese steelmaker Shougang Jingtang United Iron and Steel Co. produced 403,100 mt of slabs, 23,100 mt higher than expected, exceeding the level of 400,000 mt for the first time. Meanwhile, the company produced 55,000 mt of high grade steel in the month in question, 5,000 mt higher than expected.

In addition to the increased output of slabs and high grade steel, in the month in question the company also trial produced X80 pipeline pipes as well as steel for home appliances and electrical power supply application.
