SAIL’s steel export prices to remain stable

C.S. Verma, chairman of Indian steelmaker Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has stated that he expects steel prices to remain firm in spite of declining demand over the past months, and that, given expectations that demand will rise after the monsoon season, SAIL's steel export prices will remain stable in the coming months.
 
Meanwhile, Mr. Verma told shareholders that company revenues suffered a setback in the last Indian financial year (ended June 30), while costs had increased by 66 percent year on year
