S. Korea’s crude steel output up

South Korea reports a 0.2 percent increase in crude steel production during the first eight months of 2005 despite the country's economic slump. The Korea Iron and Steel Association disclosed that the country's crude steel production reached 31.3 million tons in the first eight months of 2005.
