Nucor, US Steel welcome extension of SIMA

US steel producers Nucor Corp and US Steel announced that they welcome the US Department of Commerce's (DOC) move to extend and expand the Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis System (SIMA). In separate statements released by Nucor Corp and US Steel, officials stress the importance of the stability that SIMA provides to the US steel industry. SIMA is used to track US steel imports.
