New industrial orders of Turkish metals manufacture up 28 percent in March

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in March this year increased by 20.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and was up 21.3 percent over February.
 
In March, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey improved by 27.2 percent year on year and registered an increase of 33 percent over the previous month.
 
Meanwhile, in the month in question, the monthly industrial new orders index for the manufacture of basic metals rose by 31.56 percent over February and was up 28.3 percent year on year.
