Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel recorded outputs of 2,937,000 mt of crude steel and 3,027,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), down two percent and up 15 percent year on year respectively - according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Meanwhile, Saba Compact Strip Processing Plant, an affiliate of Mobarakeh, produced 443,000 mt of crude steel and 441,000 mt of HRC in the given period, representing increases of 23 percent and 27 percent year on year respectively, also according to IMIDRO.
