MMK to invest in production

Vladimir Shmakov, the Vice-President of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), announced yesterday that the company intends to invest $400 million annually in the development of production till 2010. The investments would be used in reconstruction of agglomerate, coke-chemical and blast-furnace processes as well as in innovations.
