MMK to build ore enriching plant at Prioskolskoye

The Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced its intention to build a new iron ore enriching plant at the Prioskolskoye iron ore deposit, the developing rights for which MMK won last November.

The new plant will have an annual capacity of 25 million metric tons of iron ore, and is expected to produce at its designed capacity by 2016.

MMK has emphasized that the new plant will be built in line with all environment and safety regulations.
