MMK reports increase in its production

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Metal Works (MMK) has announced that it produced 6 million tons of rolled metal in January-June period, up by 0.8% when compared with the same period of 2003. Moreover, rolled metal production has been recorded as 921'000 tons in July. However, company's share in exports has decreased to 50.4% from 54.2% according to seven-month statistics.
