MMK raises scrap consumption in January-June 2006

According to operational data, Russian Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) raised the consumption of scrap 9.4 percent year on year in January-June of 2006. In the first half of 2006, the highest increase in consumption of scrap was recorded in April, while in the following months the increases were relatively small.
