Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog raises domestic prices

Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog, Ukraine based subsidiary of Mittal Steel, intends to raise domestic prices for some of its products in July. The prices would be increased for wire rod and some other long products. The definite rates of increase are expected to be determined in the nearest time. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog increased the prices for all products by $25 per ton in June but wire rod of 6.5 mm and 8 mm. The current rise in prices is explained by the enterprise by rising cost of production as well as by general increase trend characterizing the world market.
