During the 11th China International Fair for Investment and Trade held recently in Xiamen, Tan Chongjun, an official from the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance, declared that the government intends to make as few export tax policy changes as possible so as to maintain stability - Xinhua News Agency has reported.

Tan pointed out that new tax policy changes are generally necessary adjustments made by the relevant government authorities in consideration of overall economic development. However, Tan went on to add that the frequent issuing of policies is not beneficial for maintaining stability. Therefore, the government is to try to reduce the frequency of export rebate change announcements and listen to the opinions coming from various enterprises and industry associations.
