Liuzhou Steel increases hot rolled coil price

SteelOrbis Shanghai Guangxi province based Guangxi Liuzhou Iron & Steel Group Co Ltd (Liuzhou Steel) increased its ex-factory price of hot rolled coil by RMB 30/mt ($4) on September 25, 2006. After the adjustment, the new price of 5.75 mm Q235 hot rolled coil reached RMB 3,850/mt ($487) including 17 percent VAT. Liuzhou Steel is the largest industrial enterprise in Guangxi province and the 20th largest steelmaker in China with 4.5 million metric tons crude steel production per annum.
