Lianyuan Steel’s 2250 mm continuous hot rolling line starts production

On September 6, China's Hunan Province-based steelmaker Lianyuan Steel commenced production operations at its 2250 mm continuous hot rolling mill.

With its designed annual capacity of 4.41 million mt, this production line can produce hot rolled sheets with 1.2-25.4 mm thickness and 900-2,130 mm width. The products in question are widely used in pipelines, automobiles, shipbuilding and in pressure vessels.
