Laiwu Steel to supply 18,000 mt of H-beams for railway project

On December 12, Shandong Province-based Chinese steel producer Laiwu Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Shandong Iron and Steel Group, announced that its sales department has concluded a deal with the state-owned China Railway Materials Co. for the supply of 18,000 mt of weather-resistant H-beams.
 
The H-beams will be used in a project to build a railway from Lanzhou in China’s Gansu Province to Urumchi in the Xinjiang region. China Railway Materials handles logistics for China's giant railroad system and supplies steel rails as well as diesel fuel for trains.
