Korean POSCO plans to increase prices in the local market

As per the local press reports in Korea, country's major and world's fourth biggest steel producer POSCO is contemplating on increasing its local prices of hot rolled steel sheet in coils and cold rolled steel sheet in coils by Won 35-50'000/mt (approx. $30-40/mt) right after the Chinese new year. This is commented as a precaution that the producer takes against the Korean stockists exporting their material to China.
