Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant’s steel pipe output up 2.59 times in January-May

Ukrainian pipe producer Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW), a subsidiary of Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest, has announced that in January-May this year it produced 247,000 mt of steel pipes, 2.59 times more compared to the same period of 2010. Meanwhile, KhPW's production of steel pipes in May decreased by 37 percent compared to April, dropping to 37,000 mt.
