Japanese companies to produce in China

Japanese companies Nippon Steel Corp and Metal One Corp are in cooperation to build a cord wire plant in Eastern China's Jiangsu Province. The new plant will be named Tokyo Steel and located in the Changzhou city of the province. Nippon Steel and Metal One jointly invest around $100 million in the plant which will produce nonferrous metal compound materials, new alloy materials and steel cord wire for tires with an annual production capacity of 18'000 tons.
