Japan investigates bilateral agreement between EU and China

Japan government reportedly examines the details of the agreement between European Union (EU) and China, which guarantees China's export of 4.5 million tons of coke to EU. Japan government considered to participate in the negotiations between EU and China on coke export issue. However, the negotiations were held between EU and China. Upon this development, Japanese government conducts an investigation to find out whether the bilateral agreement is coherent with World Trade Organization (WTO) rules.
