Gruppo Cividale, an Italian leader in the production of special steel components, cast iron components and die-casting aluminium parts, recorded a turnover of €315 million in 2010 - more than half coming from abroad - resulting in a net profit of €11 million.

Gruppo Cividale - which currently has 1,448 employees - said that it consolidated the significant growth it has seen since 2004, a growth that was initially driven by the favorable trend of the steel market and that was supported by a bold policy of investment in plants, machinery and human resources. This allowed the group to become a partner with leading multinational companies active in the energy, oil and gas, appliance and automotive industries - such as General Electric, Flowserve, Siemens, Man Turbo, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Electrolux, Bosch, Indesit, Whirlpool - and to operate across the world, from India to China, and from the United States to Russia.

Chiara Valduga, president of Gruppo Cividale, said that despite the current economic situation, the results achieved in the first months of the year, combined with a portfolio of orders covering several months, suggest that 2011 will be a positive year, consolidating the group's position among the leading industries in the market.
