Iranian state-owned miners exploit 10 percent more iron ore

Iranian state-owned iron ore miners exploited about 11 million mt of iron ore and produced 8.95 million mt of this raw material in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), marking respective increases of 10 percent and one percent compared with the corresponding period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mining and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

In the last Iranian year, Iran's state-owned miners exploited about 31 million mt and produced about 25 million mt of iron ore.
