Huaye aims to improve production
SteelOrbis Shanghai Shanghai based Huaye Iron & Steel Group Co Ltd (Huaye Steel) has recently been ranked as the third most important metal trading company in China. In addition to being an important metal trader, the group is aiming to become an important steel producer with its Jiangsu based subsidiary. Huaye Steel's Jiangsu province based subsidiary Changshu Huaye Sheet Metal Co Ltd put its pickled sheet steel production line into operation on August 25, 2006. It has 500,000 metric tons pickled sheet steel production capacity per annum. Changshu Huaye also developed environment-friendly galvanized products, and obtained the authentication of Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS).
