Hebei Steel sees slight increase in net profit in January-September

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel) has announced that in the January-September period of the current year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 61.193 billion ($9.64 billion), down 19.12 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 508 million ($80.03 million), up 1.42 percent year on year.

In the third quarter of the year, Hebei Steel recorded an operating revenue of RMB 18.762 billion ($2.95 billion), down 24.89 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 151 million ($23.78 million), down 10.13 percent year on year.
